A collaborative ambient EP made in the lockdown.

A little on my intention behind the music

I grew up in a country filled with tea trees, where drought was an ever present reality. People would collect water on their properties in dams, which would sit without motion for months or years.
While the waters were somewhat dank, they weren't without life. The leaf matter breaking down would be a haven for insects. Mud wasps would find batter for their nests.
For me these dams intrinsically brought forth an introspection. Who are we in the places where the dank leaf matter breaks down in our soul. How do we make peace with the debris of life, that will one day become the food that nourishes the land around it when the inevitable rains come and flush out the stuff. The way I would find peace would be in the earthy water smell, and golden sparkles of sun on its surface, and the deep quiet of its depths.....

This music feels like these sitting waters. I hope that it can provide some of the reflection these pools of my home provided me
